Listening to the news yesterday I thought of a Swifty:

"I have a yen for foreign currency," said Tom frankly.

You and your swifties are what got me hooked on this place in the first, um, place.

"So, let's get with the drill" Tom said boringly.

I might have put, "Let's get with the drill" Tom droned boringly.

"This spooky vapor-filled swamp will be the perfect setting for my new whodunit," said Tom mysteriously.

"I laughed", I said jokingly.

"This vapor-filled spooky swamp will be the perfect setting for my new whodunit," said Tom mist-eerie-ously.
