Not 'maxing out' - just the intr.v. 'maxing', as in:
"Every moment fronting and maxing,
chilling in the car they spent all day waxing;
Leanin to the side but you can't spead through,
Two miles an hour so everybody sees you."
- Summertime

Perhaps, one day, it might mean "finding through Max's reference page".
chilling in the car they spent all day waxing;
This might be a reference to waxing one's surf board, were this a Californian ode.
Or it might be a reference to waxing eloquent, but one doubts it.
Or it might be a reference to applying and removing bikini wax, but surely this is not done in the car.
I think they'd spent all day waxing the car, Fr Steve.
I love it, Vernon. That'll show Google.
I think they'd spent all day waxing the car
From the inside?
Now chilling in the car which they had spent all day waxing?
