From latest TIME magazine, p 54+55 "[Satellite] intelligence would also guide US commandos
to the right places once they secreted inside Iraq....."

Translation, please?

secret v. [verbing the noun]

[f. secret n.
In the inflected forms it is not easy to distinguish between "secret and secrete v.]
trans. To keep secret, conceal, hide.

ergo, 'once they hid inside Iraq.'
