It was such fun reading all of the posts regarding Anu's theme last week (was it two weeks ago? whatever...), particularly the more esoteric references. Someone (AnnaStrophic, maybe?) expressed disappointment in the theme being quasi-mathematical rather than semantical in nature, and i'd be inclined to agree (and NO, this isn't just sour grapes at not having entered my correct guess quickly enough, *mr* tracy )

My challenge, before i digress further, is this:

Can anyone think of an alternate theme to this week's words?

dear Bridget, in the grip of the sour grape ,

'Twarn't me. I remarked on the patterns I'd seen, only. Fun contest idea of yours. [thinking hard emoticon]

My bad*.... it was someone named 'pedelman'

*which reminds me of something: i *despise* the use of 'my bad' to mean 'the mistake was mine'. the first time i ran across it was just a few months ago, when my husband sent me an email. i chalked it up to either his remedial typing skills or just poor grammar, but i've heard it spoken many times since. anyone know the etymology of that phrase?

I suggest you ask that question over on the "props" thread
