Yep, y'all're right, this is not about the weekly theme. It's about the weekly mail, and I decided to post here in this underused forum for the obvious reason.

One of the E-mails to Anu this week concerns "dilemma" vs "dilemna," an issue I'd never heard of before except when it was once brought up here and tsuwm set the world straight:

A thought:

Anu set his correspondent straight as tsuwm did the board members. Still, I'm thinking of sending the lady an E-mail and inviting her to participate here. If she and her 20 friends thought "dilemNa" was correct, then they need to be among us.

Comments?

Where have I been? I've never even heard of "dilemna."

[Sparteye wanders off, looking up the chimbley of her libary fireplace, hoping to find a clue.]

Sparteye asks: Where have I been? I've never even heard of "dilemna."

Zackley my point. I hadn't either 'til someone brought it up here. And I can tell you where you've been. In all the "right" bars

For you, good! I also emailed that guy who had an interesting perspective on the Viet vets - some new blood would always be welcome round these prats, sorry that should read parts

S'OK, mav. We allow special ablutions, dispensations and indulgences for those who anastrophize within words.

And I'm assuming that alia is a pun.

The other(female) is cast (for)?

I usually miss your puns, my dear AnnaS, since I never expect them.
