It needs some alley-oop to get this circus going at a better speed. I can say hop et voilą, as the French jugglers do when they unfold their tricks or circus folks present their prancing ponies.

Hop et voilą did not make it to English, would it have been oopey-volley???

As soon as I saw those words, I thought of this fun song from the 60's based on a comic strip of same name.

There's a man in the funny papers we all know
(Alley Oop, oop, oop, oop-oop)
He lived 'way back a long time ago

(Alley Oop) Wearin' clothes from a wildcat's hide
(Alley Oop) He's the king of the jungle jive
(Look at that cave man go!!) (SCREAM)

(Alley Oop, oop, oop, oop-oop)
He got a chauffeur that's a genuwine dinosawruh

The "Alley Oop" cartoon can still be found on line in
collections of newspaper comics.

Yes, that would be for the classy class, my oopey-volley (typo corrected) would be for us commoners.

Candy !!! That awful song! I remember. Straight from the jukebox days! laugh
It was a all day long radio hit here too!
