For the poets among you / us : On the occasion of Anu's 17th birthday week (congratulations Anu!), those who are taken by the urge to paraphrase in haiku form on the words given this week;
would it be an idea to gather the PRIVATE collection from enthousiasts next week in this thread?..?..?

I for one will give each word a go( in private ). Maybe there will be more of you / us ?

I thought I could manage one word, but not all of them.

smile Just a go, no garantee that I'll get all of them done. Just whatever people come up with. No contest, only for the fun of it.

After my try with limericks, I've got that rhythm in
the head. I need to see some haiku here to get the
"feel" for it. Good idea, however.

Tomes of mighty girth
Anu daily must explore
to find his next choice

That's the syllables allright, though I stick to the given 17 letter words and will not post them till next week. I would like to compare with others (next week). It's something like how do
you bake your cake? (idea)

Is your 'haiku cake' still cook'ng wink

To be honest, I can bake and cook well, but I never baked a cake that would rise like it should. Maybe a word chosen blind from the dictionary could be a good starter. I never haikued much, but I read some collections that were real nice.

I had not read the directions correctly, Anu wanted
haiku using the five words of the weekly list???

Can we keep hanging the Highkus till after the Hochwash? In the meantime I'm fascinated with this week's words. Usufruct. Makes me remember dear Mr. Uriah Urquhart Usufruct.
