to call y'all a bunch of LINGUISTASTERS!
By the way, I'll include myself, just for safety's sake... ;0)
Latin -aster is one of my favorite pejorative suffixes, e.g., oleaster 'an inferior olive tree'. Linguaster would be a bad torta de lengua
What is the antonym suffix for -astor?
When I first saw the word politicaster I thought it was a word for someone who does running commentary on political events. You'd have your play-by-play politicaster and your color man.
"Not a cloud in the ceiling, Bob, here at the first debate of the presidential series between Obama and McCain. The contestants are both warming up in their respective bullpens."
"That's right, Jim. This will be the first forf these two, the winners of their respective leagues. Obama has a 6-5 record and McCain is 9-2."

And since
aster in Gk means star, an 'Asteraster' would be a B-grade movie actor! Boom boom!
...and an Asterrasterrasta would be a B-grade actor who smoka-da-gunga.
to call y'all a bunch of LINGUISTASTERS!
We do love sampling that linguini.
A poetaster enjoys sampling "The Casque of Amantillado".
