A wind name I never heard of before. In New England many storms come out of the Northeast. My dad told me of an old eccentric, who wouldn't even get out of bed if his weather vane, which he could see, showed wind from Northeast. Some
some kids hitched a thread to his weather vane, so it could
point only to northeast. He stayed in bed until the weather
turned so bright and sunny he finally got suspicious.

Cæcias
Cæ"ci*as (?), n. [L. caecias, Gr. .] A wind from the northeast. Milton.
