I knew "harridan," but not "bean sidhe." Looked up "sidhe" and found they're fairy folk of various types. What's the 'bean' designation? Fair folk found around beans, or something else?

Bean is gaelic = woman. "sidhe" is pronounced "shee" Ever hear of a banshee"?

So banshee comes from bean sidhe? Female fairy folk? Cool!
