Is this akin to the scene in the movie, "Airplane," where the two black guys are speaking in whatever slanguage it is, while subtitles translated? One of them said, "sheeyut," which was translated, "golly." A hilarious scene, IMHO.

As WW has alluded, the slanguage used in Airplane/Flying High was "Jive"

There was also a line I enjoyed where the black guy criticised the white guy's (Lesley Neilson?) attempts to communicate....

"Man, yo jive is sheeeit"
