OP I am a serious Christian, but am interested in the structure of an oriental religion in which "Dharma" plays an important role. For me, the fundamental part of the rules or laws of behavior are the Decalogue, the golden rule, Jesus' two laws of love, the sermon on the mount, the beatitudes, the parables, contain the essence of the Christian "Dharma." On a more spiritual level, or the level of striving for attainment of a "Beatific Vision," for many Christians, participation in the Holy Eucharist, or Communion, is an important step toward that "Vision." Through that visiion, we become one with Christ, and in a spiritual state such that our deeds are an embodiment of the Spirit of Christ, without having in mind and spirit the rules as expressed in words.
Welcome, WE. I don't understand what you mean by "oriental religion." But in any case, this board tends to shy away from discussion of religion or politics, keeping to words and language only -- if you like, I could direct you to more appropriate forums.
