Many yeas ago there were sociology and criminolgy papers that portrayed the Jukes and Kallikak
familes as archtypes of familial degeneracy. Later studies showed that these papers were seriously
flawed and dishonest. Now the names are occasionally used as jocular insults.

The Kathak dance form originated in the north and at first was very similar to the Bharatanatyam. Persian and Muslim influences later altered the dance from a temple ritual to a courtly entertainment. The influence of the Mughal tradition is evident in this dance form, and it has a
distinct Hindu-Muslim texture.

What would it be to layer things, one on top of the other? Is there a --pose word that shows vertical positioning?

Just asking,
