Every time I log into AWADtalk, the Information and announcements category shows that little icon for new posts BUT when I open up the category, there are no new posts. It doesn't happen in the other categories, only this one.
Does anybody else have this problem?

it's a feature.
there are always three "new" because of the three threads pinned to the top -- when there is an actual new post, the count shows as four.
I'm never told there are new posts here unless there are, in fact, new posts here, but the new post count is always three higher than the actual number of new posts.
So that's it! The post count was throwing me off also. I would have just chalked it up as a glitch and not satisfied my curiosity. Thanks for asking, bel, and tsuwm, or clearing up the confusion.

My browser shows that I have 1 new message even when I have opened all messages. Since it also demoted me from Carpal Tunnel to Journeyman in one foul swoop (no, not fell), I've given up expecting good treatment from the software ...
