...when noting that a friend's wedding will be on 2/22, how June the 6th. will be written numerically this year--whether the British way or the U.S. way!

Oh six! Oh six! Oh six!

The mark of the beast. Be afraid.

Look at the "themilum number" of this post.

Anybody with half a wit of interest in these matters would know that recent research has proven that 666 was a misreading; the True Number of the Beast is 616.

>>616<<

Which adds up, numerologically, to (walla!)... 13 ...so there could very well be some synergy in this beastie hypothesis.

[edit for hardcore numerology fans: >>13<<...which then breaks down to 4/22, a very powerful number.]

Like I said, a very powerful number!

Hmmm, 616 used to be my area code until they changed it to 231. I'd already moved by then...

but 2+3+1=6 (I just got an idea for the Song and Dance)

I call bullspit on the hokey math of the 4th Century.

If they changed the mark of the beast don't you think that they should have told the beast? Our modern day method of decrypting data has no place for soothsayers and their old fashioned sayings of sooth.

Maybe, Faldage, you wish to argue with Google?

24,600,000 hits on 616 and only 17,200,000 hits on 666.

Which proves that more people fear 666 than 616.

Better still simply ask Jackie if she has experienced any slight aches or pains or unfortunate mishaps since I sent her my 666th post, that is, my post that numbered THE MARK OF THE BEAST

Aw, Milo, you shouldn't have edited your 666 post to put in that info. It changed the number. You are now the proud poster of 667 twice! But, no worries, mate, I will personally vouch for the fact that I read that post before the edit and it definitely was 666 then.
Posted By: Buffalo Shrdlu Re: It is time you realized... - 01/31/06 09:08 PM
actually, it wasn't the edit, it was the post just prior to yours. Posts: is a running total...

but, yes, it was 666.

righto. if you had the patience (or time) to navigate to your very first post, it would say Posts: 668 (or whatever the current count is).

STOP!

When it comes to hexing others with the mark of the beast it isn't the number...it's the thought that counts.

Which proves that more people fear 666 than 616.

Neither number of which means much in reality. People fear the dark, too.

People fear the dark, too.

Nyctophobia.

Jackie, I don't get it. Can you splain me?

Nyctophobia

Or racism.

I meant the former not the latter.

Omnis cum in tenebris pręsertim vita laboret.
Nam veluti pueri trepidant atque monia cęcis
in tenebris metuunt, sic nos in luce timemus
interdum, nihilo quę sunt metuenda magis quam
quę pueri in tenebris pavitant finguntque futura.
Hunc igitur terrorem animi tenebrasque necessest
non radii solis neque lucida tela diei
discutiant, sed naturae species ratioque.
(Lucretius. de rerum natura)

The whole of life but labours in the dark.
For just as children tremble and fear all
In the viewless dark, so even we at times
Dread in the light so many things that be
No whit more fearsome than what children feign,
Shuddering, will be upon them in the dark.
This terror, then, this darkness of the mind,
Not sunrise with its flaring spokes of light,
Nor glittering arrows of morning can disperse,
But only Nature's aspect and her law.

how June the 6th. will be written numerically this year Whether it's noted month/day/year or day/month/year, it will be 06/06/06.

I have a friend whose daughter was born at 12:34 05/07/78.
