n. medical study of remedies.

No connection to the iamb, is there?
Best I could find:
Iamatology
Iam`atol"ogy (?), n. [Gr. , , medicine + -logy.] (Med.) Materia Medica; that branch of therapeutics which treats of remedies.
"iamb" as in iambic seem unrelated.
Well this is weird. Are you saying that iamatology and lamatology are one and the same thing?
On the surface, it appears that either and "i" was mistaken for an "l," or vice versa. Again, weird.
I suspect you mistook a capital "I" for a small "l" as in lilly.
"i" was mistaken for an "l,"
Get you a different font, Dub. I can clearly see the serifs on the Capital Eye.

I checked my Preferences. It's called Times.
I suppose I will have to change my preferences since this kind of confusion over eyes and ells has occurred before on the board.
Least I won't continue thinking iamatology and lamatology are both words having to do with the study of remedies.
Well, I did change my preferences and also increased the size of the font. AWAD writers now appear to be writing kindergarten texts. Highly intellectual kindergartners, of course.
