So he replaced Mon-Fri with segunda-feira, terça-feira, quarta-feira, quinta-feira, sexta-feira. The names are used today in Portugal and Brazil, and probably in the other colonies, too.That said, both the Thursday and the Friday of Holy Week are santa. And Easter, yes, is Páscoa.
