as in, the state of us politics today. last night i went to bed (at 3am) with the sad knowledge that bush had won. now i can't be sad anymore, only afraid.

i know no one wants to hear my political opinions. it's just all i've thought about for 2 days now. i'm going to give myslef an ulcer

Off thread. I work for a publisher. We name our conference rooms after authors. One of the authors has the happy name of Augee.

Inviting external visitors to come with us to the Augee Room has raised eyebrows, questions and maybe even expectations...
