Anyone know what the significance of the <Location> tag is - at the moment, Jackie is mess_handler whilst I am just online, and rhubarb has just changed from the same as Jackie (in this respect at least!) to viewmessage...???

Does it just act as some kind of log of where in the system someone's browser is pointing?

I've wondered about that!! Right now I am "online", but most of the time I've looked, I am "showflat", and I have
no clue what any of them mean!
Though I suppose mess handler is appropriate for me.

Those Location things correspond to what you're doing at the time. It says what section of the webpage you're on. Online means that you're checking who is [u]online[/u]. View message means that that person is looking at a message. Post means that that person is posting a message and showflat means that the person is looking at the board in flat mode at that time.

showflat means that the person is looking at the board in flat mode

What does it say if I'm looking at the board in an up-beat mode?
