Now something needs to be explained maybe. Why did I ask you about the yes or no of using a dictionary. Well, because I thought that maybe people brought up words that are as hard to get from a dictionary as it is to guess them. I must have overestimated you guys.
So you can drop your arms over this misunderstanding I hope.
It took me some time to clearly look at both you reactions.
It slowly dawned on me when you were talking on SQUINCH about grievances, Jackie. Gee,I'm a little embarrassed.

It's not meant to be particularly complex. But once in a while you come across a word that's simple, ambiguous, sassy, obscure, silly, unexpected, impish, whatever, and you say "Now wouldn't THAT make a great Hogwash word!" and Presto, you're a Hogmistress!

There was a spam posting between Candy and Jackie's just
prior to hers. The old ugg boot advertisement appeared.
I reported it, and pm'd Candy as to what to do when they
appear as so many advised me when I just responded to the
spam rather than using the 'contact us' button. Anu
told me in an email that the site tries to eliminate them
but they are coming in from China now.

If anyone has a word they think would be worthy of a round of Hogwash, please feel free to take the Hogmaster reins and run with it...
Step one: Announce that a new round of Hogwash is in the works and what the word for the round is.
Step two: Receive private messages from all those submitting daffynitions for the round. If the sennight is running out with fewer daffynitions than desired, post a reminder on the invite thread.
Step three: collate the daffynitions, include the correct answer, and post in a seperate thread after seven days.
Step four: Post answer and voting statistics in a seperate thread after seven days It sounds terrible
