It would seem to me obvious that Mr Garg considers the Bible to be a work of fiction. One may not agree with that conclusion, but the sentence is understandable. Just as I find it obvious from your (rhetorical) question that your view about the book is the opposite of Mr Garg's. HTH.

Thank you for posting and pointing this out. I fully agree and it is a shame that the most popular NON-fiction work would be referred to as fiction. Quite ignorant in my opinion. I'm afraid I've lost a bit of confidence in our Wordsmith. Shame.
