One thing puzzles me: the word was posted with the hint4 that it was encountered on a TV program. What kind of TV program could have included this word, if [number] is the correct definition? L would be good if it weren't said to be a verb but then given a noun definition. M sounds like the kind of definition I would have come up with, but didn't this time around. So I think I'll go with M
