Loc: Land of the Flat Water There's a dwarf planet out beyond Pluto and its five moons.
This dwarf planet is named Makemake, which I am told, means
"dead" in Hawai'ian, tho' I don't know for sure._________________________

Posts: 1 I'm glad someone's alerted you to New Zealand. There are many place names that are examples of reduplication. Add Kawakawa, Katikati and Ramarama to the list above. Look in the index of an atlas for more!

Loc: West Sussex, UK I drove through Baden Baden on my way to Slovenia from the UK, a few years ago. My advice, if you do try going there, is to plan your route very carefully, as I couldn't get out couldn't get out of Baden Baden!
I vowed never again to go anywhere near either of the towns.
Life's too short.

Loc: Florida and North Carolina If you ever find yourself in the middle of Georgia (the one in the U.S.)you may as well add Ty Ty to your list. It's on US 82 between Tifton and Albany. Don't blink or you'll miss it.

Loc: Toronto, Canada While not *technically* a reduplication, you should consider throwing Wawa, Ontario onto your list. I mean really, where else in the world are you going to see a 28-foot-tall metal statue of a Canada goose?
