Dear friends..

I am starting my new business venture in educational field.
I want a catchy name for my company. My educational company's aim is to provide educational study material as well as teaching to IIT-JEE and engineering aspirants.

please suggest me...
Well I liked the name Prodigy very much but it is already taken by someone else

I felt your post wasn't getting the attention it should. I asked Laverne and she suggested TechnoEd

"TechnoEd" isn't bad, but for smoother pronunciation, I'd reverse the components. How about EduTech? (Or, on a lighter note, EduGeek? Of course if you choose a quasi-slang term, you're running the risk of its slipping out of use...)

Whatever you choose, you need to research it to be sure no one else is using it. Then, after you've done business for a while, you can register it as a trademark.

I would suggest that, when a query is this old and the person hasn't responded, that means either (s)he has lost interest or considers our replies unworthy. In either case I can't see us continuing to strain our brains for naught.

I don't think there is much danger there.
