I think hustled to whistled is two changes isn't it, a substitution and an addition? HUSTLED + W - I + U = WHISTLED

I suggest instead SHUTTLED.

Swap the C for an O and it becomes toussled.

Yes, I see that now .I unintentionally defied The Rules. Blame shame sorry blush. Skip whistle.

Uh, CoffeeBean, my dictionary only gives tousle with one s. ( to treat roughly) Is there another toussle and what does it mean?

So twosleepy, DUTCHESS inevitably! And any time now computer brake down can make this game DUTCHLESS.

In my neighborhood there used to be a bunch of "TOUCHLESS Car Washes." [change D to O]

(And J&J made OUCHLESS Band-Aids...) [delete T]

afterthought: If we discipline ourseves to define the changes, we'll have less to cavil about regarding observing/flouting the Roolz...

Edited by wofahulicodoc (12/03/08 08:49 AM)
Edit Reason: add afterthought !

Ouch! What a word! Can you also get us out this dead-end-street-of-a-word again, The inFallible?
Yes Wofahu, it's clear and also a good self-check to tell what was done. But how will the last one be undone?

SLOUCHIEST

Replace L with N and rearrange to get

TOUCHINESS

(or is that putting us farther into a hole?)

Guess not. At this point I realize it's a wordgame in a foreign language. I see my limit. I've really been putting effort to it. Over eight letters I loose
track.
