Hello out there:

Is there someone who can help me with the pronunciation of the Norwegian composer, Trygve Torjussen. I will be playing his glorious tone poem, To The Rising Sun for my upcoming piano recital, and I don't want to mispronounce his name.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Sandra

There may be others more qualified than I to give you advice on this matter, but I'd say that TRIG-vee TORE-you-sen would be close enough.

Sorry I couldn't help, Norwegian isn't anywhere in my knowledge base but welcome to the board.
