...if anyone's in the mood.

The word is squinch.

As themilum has asked me to use the hogwash word in a sentence in previous games, here it is.

"How do I use that?" he asked "Is it 'that's a squinch' or 'that's been squinched'?"

Count me in.
I've been squinchless most all of my days but now I feel that my time has finally come.

So all you conniving unclean porkers of Awad, on guard!
Come now and meet themilum - a gaint of a man who knows his squinches.
You'll soon see, little pigmies; it doesn't take one to know one it just takes brains.

Count me in!

Only six entries. I feel I need at least three more to run this one.

Yes, missed the last two and started to wonder if it was by design. Were kestrel fakes that bad? Seem to remember getting some points at least twice.

Did you get mine, Elizabeth? It was late when I composed it and I was drinking cheap whiskey for inspiration. If you didn't get it I'll get another bottle and compose another.

Hurry, I'm thirsty!

Definitely a sen'night. Yes, I got your entry, milo - but don't let that hinder you from taking another snort!

I definitely want to contribute one but my muse hasn't struck yet. Gimme some warning when the deadline is approaching.

Uh, Elizabeth, how much time is left on the sev'night?

--> (contracting seven nights as "sen'night" is the Victorian equivalent of saying "ain't")

And how many definitions do we need to make a game?

the call went out on 2/4; a sennight will not have passed until 2/11.

the number is at the discretion of the hogmistress.

Hey Joe, you you forgot to put the apostrophe in sen'night.

And really Joe, has any Hogmaster or Hogmistress known to the western world ever practiced discretion? I think not.

on the contrary, double-you, that was entirely purposeful and, furthermoreover, accurate.
