Is planned obsol

since plutarch doesn't check his pm's often enough and also thinks that this was a real question {jeez!) we are stuck with this annomalous space time distortion of a post that is an unintended combination new post and partial reply.

Good question, musick.

Planned obsolescence isn't "planned" any more.

We just take it for granted [we are buying throwaway "junk"].

It must have been unconscious genius, musick, because your statement in the form of a question without a question mark was profound.

"planned" obsolescence is obsolete.

Today, most of what we buy is standard issue junk.

You know how they glamorize "used cars" by calling them "pre-owned vehicles".

Maybe they should call all those appliances we buy at Walmart "pristine junk".
