tribology is today's AWAD.

today's wwftd (by some -logy coincidence) is iridology. dr. bill wrote telling me of an
embarassing moment in iridology. "I failed to detect a glass eye. I still feel the shame of it. I had omitted palpation."

slightly less embarassing (I would imagine), it escaped my notice that iridology falls into this week's AWAD theme, in that one shouldn't conclude that it has to do with the study of rainbows.
