Our compatriot wow has already pointed out Fearless Leader's appearance in the December issue of Smithsonian magazine as her intro to AWAD (Miscellany), but I thought it fitting to start a new thread on this.

Has everyone see it? I read it in the actual, real magazine, but as Jackie so kindly showed us, you can see the article on-line at:

http://www.smithsonianmag.si.edu/smithsonian/issues00/dec00/wordaday.html

It's fascinating. I learned, among other things, that Anu rides a unicycle (there must be a piscean pun in here somewhere).

Does the article and two photos shake Father Steve's agnosticism when it comes to the Lord of Words?

As a former academic-type person, I can understand the unicycle. University salaries don't run to whole bikes.

The idiot also known as Capfka ...

He juggles too!
And I am very proud of sharing with our beloved Anu the skill of juggling 3 balls ... no more , to add the fourth is SOOO difficult ... But it is enough to impress children!
Also, I have a book on making a unicycle...I have to try...

Not moi. That would be inappropriate. He thinks he's my nephew. We must humo(u)r him.
