Loc: Piedmont Region of Virginia, U... Will someone steer me toward a website/page that might include a very long list of verbs that mean 'said'--but are more creative: bellowed, whispered, chortled, guffawed, catcalled...etc. I could create a long list, but time is short.
If anyone here knows how to perform a search on this topic successfully--without much trouble--I would be very grateful.
Thanks,
WW

This site gives a tremendous amount of synonyms and so on for any word you type in. I find it very useful.

Loc: Piedmont Region of Virginia, U... Thanks to both of you. Those both work well, and will well work for future word problems.
