Loc: Atlanta, GA "...what is so bad about chopped liver? Is it worse than whole liver?"
It sure is if it's YOUR liver. Just venting my spleen.

Loc: Louisville, Kentucky Does anybody know which comic is credited with the line "What am I, chopped liver?"? Rodney Dangerfield?

Loc: Chicago Sooner or later, the question of "prescriptive vs. descriptive" will arise with this dictionary, too.
That's the whole premise already, isn't it?

Bien non, that's just stereotyping. Nowadays, women pay for their own shoes...we just want Hubby to look at em cause a nice pair of shoes is a thing of beauty.

Loc: Seattle, Washington, USA The Ritz-Carlton on Cental Park in New York City offers a fun package for women. It is called "Shoes, Shoes, Shoes" and the ad for it begins "A girl can never have too many shoes, so why not spend an entire day shopping for shoes, shoes, and more shoes? Visit Eugenia Kim, Kari Sigerson and Miranda Morrison, and Holly Dunlap of Hollywould, and work together to pick fabulous shoes for every day of the week."
The package includes a one-night stay for two in a Deluxe Guestroom, with a late checkout the day of departure; a day of shopping with Kathleen Beckett of Beckett's Black Book; morning coffee or tea in The Star Lounge; lunch at one of New York City's most fashionable restaurants; a special fashion-themed treat from pastry chef Eric Hubert upon turndown.
And the whole thing is yours for only $2475 per night (not including tax and gratuities).
