Googling turns up a bunch of Czech and Polish sites, but it also seems to be a Family name.

Shame on you ;P Hope you don't understand what have they written (or do you?) ;)

It's used as a greeting there. I'm asking about it because I used to use the word as greeting too and have been recently told that the meaning is slightly different. But noone would explain me what is the proper one :o
