Although a bit superficial textually 'Subway Art' could be considered a good introduction into graffiti culture. Or, is "graffito" counter-culture? I guess it depends on whether you are making an investment or a statement. Of course, "graffito" doesn't have to appear on someone else's property to make a statement. It can make a statement in the toniest of lofts.
