In a Sherlock Holmes story a man found dead has two
"dress circle tickets" in his pocket.

Stalls = Ground floor, Dress Circle = First balcony
Uppers = Second balcony

Or peanut gallery in small old movie theaters. I remember having read that many small movie theaters made greater
profit on popcorn and peanuts than they did on the sale of tickets.
