Was my face red this morning, when after spending a couple hours trying to find English translation of one of the little stanzas in Carmina Burana, I found it in one of Wordsmith's Letters! I looked further, and found that all the words that have been in AWAD before are listed alphabetically. I suggest you browse there, you may find
words never discussed in AWADtalk that you might want to post about.

Edit: On Saturday, Jan 10, the wordlist seems to have been
deleted in toto. I wonder why. Boohoohoohoo!

Thanks for that link, Bill. As a relatively new member, I appreciate learning how things work around here.

BTW, Carmina Burana is one of my favorite musical works.

Both Faldage and etaoin have sung the swan song therefrom: Faldage in falsetto and etaoin in real live genuwine counter-tenor, far as I can recall.

Thus endeth the intrusion. Carry on.

Hey, I think I'd pay good money (is 'bad money' an oxymoron?) to hear that particular duet. Very fun!

well, you can hear one side of the duet:

it's a 4MB download, so it might take awhile... this was from my performance with the Dartmouth Symphony last February. I also did all the baritone solos... but I haven't uploaded those. maybe someday.

Which is why I sometimes call him 'cygne,' vocative of cygnus, swan.
