will take you to a newspaper story about possible change to Irish laws regading bringing pets into the country.
Meanwhile there is a six month quarantine for dogs coming into Ireland.
I noticed in the story they talk just about Continent. No mention of USA or Canada et. al. Guess I'd have to fly to Europe with dog then enter UK from there....but still no chance for Ireland with a dog.
They really should change. Hawaii had a 90 day quarantine for many years, about five years ago changed it to 30 days. Recently, according to my son the Lt. Colonel, the state has allowed vets to set up quarantine facilities for pets. Much better than having a pet go to the state-run facility in Halawa Valley which is no fun for animals.
If you are shipping a pet to Hawaii - call ahead and book a vet! Mayhap JohnHawaii has more recent news?
After writing all this, I realized you are talking about people who live in Ireland bringing pets to Emerald WAPA .
Slow on the uptake. Sigh.
