Anu,
When do we graduate from strangers to linguaphiles?

I love it! This is paradise, indeed!
Perhaps we could graduate to 'friend', or how
about 'philes'? 'Cat', maybe, since we are a
curious group. Oh, this is bad!--how about 'lion'
because we revel in our pride?
I will watch with interest to see whether
whalemeat takes the bait.

I expected to be able to edit my title! wassup!?

Posted By: AnnaStrophic Re: Strangers in Paradise - 04/09/00 12:37 PM
Well. I tried to <B> edit </B> my sub-title by typing "linguphile" into the signature box on the profile. The result: "linguaphile" became attached to my post (over on the antonyms board). Meanwhile, I was mysteriously transformed from "stranger" to "newbie." I am cyber-wrought. Let's see what happens here.

Anna,
in regard to your attempt to highlight edit, you have to use markup rather than HTML; i.e., use square brackets [] rather than <>. HTH.
