Without pausing to cast aspersions, I would like to invite everyone to make no response, positive, negative, indifferent or unconnected to those posters with pretentions to names as numerous and wrath as great as G-d's. In order for this to be effective, it must be observed by everyone, without exception. It would be especially expedient if the (lower case) deity, too, would not respond. In the case of the deity, however, that would mean not responding to impulse, and I'm not certain we can rely on the deity for that. I made this suggestion once before and it was rejected as potentially engendering ill-will on the board. I'm afraid time has not born out the objection. To ban an individual, it is not necessary to bar them electronically from the forum. And if anyone thinks it worth their time and reputation to threaten suit to be admitted to this forum, well, then, let it be *their* time and *their* reputation. I will say I find the idea ludicrous in the extreme and I would prefer they fart downwind from me, in future. But I can't imagine it worth any one else's time or reputation to validate it. Therefore, I suggest, again, that everyone agree to completely ignore ANYTHING WHATSOEVER that is posted by the provocateur. Such posts should not even receive the consideration of an "unwelcome" mat. In the interest of starting things off right, incidentally, I will not respond to any replies to this message.

Best wishes for amity,
IP.

To clarify:
Bel,

Oh, I was just suggesting that no one respond to anything a certain disruptive party may post on this board. No replies to the disrupter: neither negative, positive nor unrelated. No replies whatsoever. None. Not even if something should turn up in this thread. Even a brat in a snit may get quiet if no one pays any attention to it. In my opinion, Dr. Bill's suggestion is pretty good, too, but it does give the satisfaction to the obnoxious individual of being at least a generic unpleasantry. The stuff about the deity was just by way of being friendly.

I should say, however, that I whole-heartedly approve of the general warnings. But I think they should be kept general. They may follow an obnoxious post, but they should not respond to it materially.

You tell 'em. I stutter.

Let us go in peace to love and serve the board.

Hi Insel. I tried to send you a PM but the system wouldn't let it through.

Please don't laugh at me but I don't understand your post. Especially the beginning. Can I trouble you to send me a PM please.

Thank you.

Dear BelM I believe InselP is asking that *everyone stop using fake names and identities and that everyone ignore any posts that offend.
