paraphrasing an old philosopher:

It would be unwise to be optimistic, and unphilosophical to despair.

Where are you, Alfred E. Newman?

Although Alfred E. was "Mad", I thought it *interesting that an often encountered musician in early (for me) movies was also an Alfred Neuman(sp?). Related, praps?

I was surprised to find a whole bunch of sites about Mad Magazine and even pictures of original character Alfred E. Newman.

"One thing modern science can't seem to get the bugs out of is fresh paint!" - Alfred E. Neuman

An observation about Alfred E. Neuman:

Don't you think he looks like a little boy version of David Letterman? Just a thought, not that I stay up that late.

And wasn't there discussion here recently (or did I dream it after watching Letterman) about a MAD spoof on "Moulin Rouge"? That issue, if it exists, would be worth taking a look at.

tsuwm is here, tsuwm is here, oh, ho, ho, ho, tsuwm is here...even if for a little while, oh, ho, ho, ho, tsuwm is here...happy, happy, happy, happy, happy. Bill, ask some more MAD questions and tsuwm also can't resist National Lampoon and Monty Python....!!
