yeahbut®, I'm glad you posted it. Somehow I missed this news item. He was a great presence in country music who influenced many of the newer country singers that are popular today. His music was a treasure to the world and his presence will truly be missed by this country music fan. [solemn-e]

Yeah, Waylon was a real country icon, and his group of "Outlaws" always stood out for me...I'm sorry I never got the chance to see Willie Nelson, Waylon, Kris Kristofferson, and Johnny Cash when they came around. And he always carried an aura of his rockabilly roots, and the now-mythic story of his giving up his plane ticket to the "Big Bopper" when he was a bassist with Buddy Holly. The music plays on...
