The way I play golf, that would be my score for the next hole.

wall thangya, thangya.
The kind of things that puzzle me..Well, I think I undestood the meaning, but what kind of pronounciation are you referring to?
Obvious question to many..of course

Emanuela, stales is a Striner. He can't help it. It's not, as Jackie implied - well, stated - Britspeak, it's Ozspeak.

Advance, Australia. Please.

The pleasure is all mine. As it will be Waugh's, no doubt. Still, funnier things have happened, no?

Like the recent Arizona - NY Yankee event? (hoping I have infered the gist correctly -e)

More or less, wow, more or less. Hopefully more than less. Or at least, less than Waugh or less for Waugh!

emanuela - allow me to spring to my own defence....(but thanks Cap K for attempting a reply on my behalf).

"wall thangya, thangya" was ekshoolly my ELVIS impersonation!!!

Why insert an Elvis accent at that particular point? No idea. No reason. None whatsoever. Just seemed like the thing to do at the time.

Please don't be confused. If there's no logic at the source, there's no need to try to read any into it. Sort of like modern art and avante garde plays really.
