Has anyone heard from Doc Bill? Has his eyesight deteriorated to the point that he can't post here anymore?

He hasn't answered my private communiques and e-mails in a long while.

Is he OK?

Unfortunately, Dr. Bill's vision has indeed deteriorated to that degree, Milo. He no longer goes online. As of last week, he is still living in a nursing home.

Thank you Consue, he is in my prayers.
I will write him a real letter and maybe someone will read it to him.
Wild Bill brought much good will and information and wisdom to these pages. Bill was, if fact, from the greatest generation.

Of course, he could be a bit persnickety if his wisdom was questioned by a young sixty year old like me.
