Not wanting to get political, but this piece of stealth technology could well win the war for the "coalition" forces. It might at least stop them shooting each other:

I hope that loses McDonalds a lot of potential patrons.
I'd like to put that the guy who thought that up out in front
of our troops to peddle his wares to Saddam's elite guys.
I'd like to see him get his ticket punched.
Jeez, Bill, I believe it was a joke. The names of the rest of the cities are just a leedle bit of a giveaway ...

I consider McDonald's an arch enemy!
Dear Capfka: I despised it when I thought itwas a genuine commercial. I doubly despise it as a hoax. Deaths of soldiers
should not be mocked. Save mockery for the politicians.
Deaths of soldiers should not be mocked.
Or civilians...
"Or civilians" Rubrick? Iraqi civilians that have been forced at the point of a gun to march towards coalition lines with a silly little hand grenade to explode. What, maybe God knows and only he understands, is your point?
Whoa, all of you! It was a joke. Take one large step backwards and take a deep breath. Then either laugh because you think it's funny or groan because you don't. But don't start trying to take philosophical meaning out of it.

That civilian deaths shouldn't be mocked. That should have been apparent for someone with a partisan, one-track mind like you to understand, milum.
Go take a pill.
... and we thought talking 'politics' was a bad *idea ...
For Heaven's sake. Let's not have another flame war.
Let's not talk about the war at all. Let's get back to words.
And above all, let's not attack other members. PM if you must,
but no attacks in posts, PLEASE.
I now sincerely regret having had a go at brightening your days with the original post. I won't delete it, but if you can't take it or leave it, take it or leave it anyway.
Certainly let's not have any kind of war on the Board. Been there, done that, detested it. There's no need for us to go at it, we have whole armies out there doing it for us.
Please just calm down and accept that talking about the war here will benefit no one. Positions are too entrenched on this one.
I was taking the p*ss out McDonalds - always, in my view, a legitimate target for scorn in their long-time role as an anti-personnel chemical weapons factory of ill-repute. It wasn't a comment on the war one way or the other.

You burghers are all alike -- gotta have it down patty.
There's an old English music hall song, "Underneath the Arches". Doesn't mention nutrition-free food, but.

Take heart, Coffeebean! For, not wanting to lose the business of the many coulrophobes, McDonald's now offers a clown-safe encasement known as the Archie Bunker.

No doubt as politically correct as Archie was . . .
