Tsuwm's wwftd, humectant, is actually quite a useful word. I found it in doznes of
sites about pharmaceuticals. Pipe tobacco ads used to dwell on it. And some
faunchy sites equate it with lubricity, lewdly.

faunchy (as per DARE)

Perhaps a bit of a Freudian self-portrait there, Dr. Bill?

Me to tsuwm, as I arrive to pick him up for our date: "You look positively faunchy tonight, my dear."

As I said recently, my typos get more attention than my orthographic efforts. faunchy = raunchy.

Do you need humectant before or after cruising the porn sites, Bill?

There you go again, Cap. What's up with you downunder? We all have to breathe the same air around here and you are giving off a bit of an odor. If you are trying to pick a fight with someone, please be a gentleman and take your fight outside.

Dear Wordminstrel: It's hell to be so old gals defend me.But I love it just the same.
I have needled CK so often, I would be hurt if he didn't retaliate a bit.
Well he knows I salivate salaciously.

Hey wordminstrel. Take a deep breath and chill out. This post to CapK and the one you made to modestgoddess on another thread are certainly the type of personal comments, if you feel they need to be said in such a tone at all (I dunno why), would best be said in private...that's what the PM is for.

Wise up, Wordminstrel. Don't stick your nose in where it certainly isn't needed. If I want to call Bill a humectant user and inquire when he uses it, that's between him and me.

Since you have given us no information about you - I understand from Bill's post that you may be female - I think you should keep your carping to yourself.

We have quite enough grisly eminences around here! And Bill's just the laddie to find them for you.

And I'm not down under.

There you go again

Time back way back, as I am sure you will remember, wm, some drunk came stumbling in here and barfed all over the floor. Before that time we had fun jumping all over each other for real and imagined offenses, picking fights right and left with no ranco(u)r whatsoever. The drunk managed to change all that to the point where many of us despaired of ever having our board back at all. Fortunately a stalwart few stayed and cleaned the mess up, for which I and, I imagine, many others are eternally grateful and we can now get back to having fun, which fun is occasionally peppered with the jocular poste/riposte. We will not be dragged back to the bad time.

I would very much regret Wordminstrel's feeling his having taken my part has hurt
his standing. (Joke on me for gender error). Don't go away, Wordminstrel, they've
got me surrounded!

You, Dr. Bill, were one of the stalwart few.

I just got some very bad news and am too paralyzed to respond as usual.
