I was referred to this site by a friend of mine and think it's wonderful. The group I usually 'message' with is concerned primarily with scepticism and critical thinking. One of the words we coined is "credophilia" (I cannot tell a lie, I made it up), referring to someone who has a need for a belief or beliefs, and is uncritical about which or what they might be. You might find it useful when you encounter 'new age' types who are into crystals, feng shui, tarot cards, astrology: anything so long as it sustains belief.

Credophilia - the watchword of the post-millennial generation?

I'll go along with that! Watch out for the credophiliacs. You won't believe what they do!

Even they will not kill themselves for their beliefs, as CREDOMANIACS will...
