WITHIN YOU, WITHOUT YOU

we were talking about the space between us all, and the people who hide themselves behind a wall of illusion, never glimpse the truth-----then it's far too late, when they pass away.------we were talking about the love we all could share----when we find it, to try our best to hold it there---with our love, with our love we could save the world----if they only knew. try to realise it's all within yourself, no one else can make you change, and to see you're only very small and life flows on within you and without you.----------we were talking about the love that's gone so cold, and the people who gain the world and lose their souls----they dont know----they can't see----are you one of them? -----when you've seen beyond yourself then you may find peace of mind is waiting there---and the time will come when you see we' re all one, and life flows on within you and without you.

--George Harrison (1943-2001)

Thanks for that, Whitman. Anyone could use a good dose of those lyrics as a daily tonic.

WhitmanO'Neill

Thank you for the post. There is a war going on in our company, not unlike what is happening in Afghanistan, except that the weapons are dismissals, bonuses, ugly rumours, withdrawal of civility, etc. It is very distressing and I would like to put an end to it. George's words, I hope will help. I posted copies in many places. I hope people will get it.
Thanks again.

wordcrazy, oh, I have been thinking about you, these last few days! I was afraid you'd given us up! I hope that grandbaby helps take your mind off your work troubles. Stay with us this time, won't you, please?

Jackie, I missed you, too. So many wonderful posts I want to respond to. But you got it right that grand baby smile has a mighty powerful pull.
I just had to say thank you to Whitman O'Neill because I felt so sad about George Harrison and the lyrics he posted is such a perfect antidote to the craziness that is happening at my workplace.
I apologise for just always taking from the board and not contributing. I hope to find time soon to amend that.
I miss everyone.
