the count seems to be updated "momentarily", and I'd guess that it's for the past 30 days. (but who's counting.)

in a way, I miss the Grand Total that used to be part of the Stats.

Me, too. I loved seeing Maverick's name, and always sighed at Bill's.

I understand your regrets but I avoid looking at the numbers. They tell me too clearly when I neglect other things.

Oh now see it right under my avat-picture. Gee! terrible.

I know they don't keep up with postings
when and if I do look at them. Sometimes take upwards of
half a day, and then sometimes they drop right in the middle
of posting. When I do look at them, it is only because someone
was very irritated with me at having so high a score, and that
was because another poster and I were going "neck & neck" at
one time on the anagram game, wherein the score just kept
going up. Then that person dropped out, and mine just stayed
slowly dropping back to levels they are now, because I kept
posting while the other person just dropped off the bottom
of the scoring. I could care less about competition of any
sort and don't care where my posting is, but I know it irritates
others.

haha I enjoyed that race Luke...i was so close! hehe i am slowly creeping back up and hope, one day, to finally beat you and become TOP POSTER haha, it is fun to glance at them every so often, to remind myself to post more as on here no-one can see if you're reading the topics unless you post!

Ah, yes, ..... but you wouldn't believe the insulting
PM from another poster I received. Was highly
incensed that my posts were triple (or something)
the next 3-5 posters combined. People who worry about
such things and take them serious, as this poster did,
are to be pitied. Bring it on Bex....I'd gladly give the
top poster billing, I've had it long enough.

We've been caught in 100 degree weather (40+ C) for 25 days or
more now. I don't know if I'm up to a challenge, but I shall
try. We will probably rile up some, but who cares???

I agree. Sometimes some folks just think this is their
private site. Really arrogant. But I don't care, and have
not since I got the PM. And I'm glad to have someone to
play the game with. Candy comes on almost daily (nightly for
me here in US), and Va-vavoom plays and wofahuolidoc (?) is
a regular. It is a great thread.
