Well, gh, I was going to tell you how glad I am to see you back, but now it'll have to wait until I'm out of the hospital...

While teaching a Judicial Colloquium at the Fall Judicial Conference last Monday, I asked the judges in my class to identify themselves by saying (1) their name, (2) in what court they serve, (3) why they signed up for the colloquium and (4) something that a pirate would say. They indulged me and NOT ONE if those learned jurists knew that Monday was Talk Like a Pirate Day. I handed out copies of the Dave Barry column in which all is revealed. Aaaaaargh.

You are never implying, Father Steve, that this "Talk like a Pirate Day" is... *like... an official day!?! I thought Gift Horse was horsing around!
