Consider the plight of the lowly

Some use him to jeer
When he's full of good cheer
Which fills him with deep melancholy.

Consider the plight of the frown
On the face beneath the crown
What the palace disdains
Is often the bane
Which brings the palace down.

A king without his crown
Is no better or worse than his clown
But he's free to jest
Or just be his best
Without fear of being brought down.
